Responsibilities
1. Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics
2. Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
3. The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
4. Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
5. Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
6. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
7. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
8. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
9. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
10. Promote content on social media
11. Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
12. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
13. Update website content as needed
Requirements
1. Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role2. Portfolio of published articles3. Experience doing research using multiple sources4. Familiarity with web publications5. Excellent writing and editing skills in English6. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)7. Ability to meet deadlines8. BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
