Skillset required
Ideal candidate is expected to have working experiences of not less that 2 years handon expertise and any of the following (or equivalent) basic qualifications:
· Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
· CompTIA Network+ Certification
· CompTIA Security+ Certification
· Cisco CCNA Certification
Duties and responsibilities
The Primary roles and responsibilities of the captioned title holder are as follows.
· Troubleshoot internet connection issues
· Administer physical and cloud server(s)
· Perform routine security and performance checkups on systems and servers
· Implement and administer backup strategy of all company data
· Assemble and configure computer systems
· Administering email accounts
· Configure and maintain the organization's internal computer network.
· Manage network security tools, e.g., firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems.
· Identify, troubleshoot, solve and document network connectivity and performance issues.
· Install and support hard-line telephones and other networked telecommunication devices.
· Monitor network performance and optimize the network for optimal speed and availability.
· Install, configure and maintain network hardware, for example, Cisco routers and switches.
· Deploy, configure and upgrade network software, such as, enterprise antivirus or diagnostics programs.
· Implement and maintain emergency backup and restore systems for mission-critical network servers.
· Regulate user access to sensitive files to protect against internal security breaches by applying User access control protocols.
· Provide end-user desktop support, if needed; in other stations of the company
· Perform periodic maintenance of PCs, laptops, servers and other networked devices.
· Install Operating Systems on computer systems
· Ensure application of IT policies throughout the company
· Apply software certifications policy as stipulated in company’s IT policy
