JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The inhouse legal counsel will be coordinating with all internal stakeholders on legal risks, documentary procedures, drafting and reviewing correspondence between the company and government entities, and coordinating with external legal counsel on potential litigation/arbitration matters.
- Reviewing demands and claims received by the company from various regulators and customers and advising on the legal aspects in connection with the same.
- Advising on compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review of Tender Documents and Contracts including improvements to the drafts currently in use and developing standard drafts where necessary.
- Reviewing legal notices, tracking potential and existing litigation and liaising with external counsel for managing litigation on behalf of the company.
- Reviewing financial documents and advising on the legal aspects in connection therewith.
- Advising IT on interpretation of agreements with vendors and advising on issues related to the same.
- Supporting the Company Secretariat through research and advice on legal issues.
