The Role: Product Manager

Grade: 10 (internal candidates)

Shift: Preferred shift would be US business hours (8am to 5pm ET); partial overlap with US business hours possible

Location:  India, Pakistan, Philippines, Buenos Aires

The Team:

Real Estate Product Management is responsible for the data, analytics and workflow solutions for clients focused on the real estate sector.  This team owns the product vision, designs incremental product improvements, and partners with commercial teams and clients to bring those solutions to market.

This role will support the evolution of S&P Global’s industry-leading Real Estate offering.  This solution is a must-have tool used by the largest investment banks, fund managers and real estate companies.  Our data and solutions help shape the markets of the future.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the growth of the Real Estate product offering across all our delivery channels by contributing to the product roadmap, capturing and prioritizing requirements, and helping define the go-to-market strategy.  Key activities include:

  • Identify industry dynamics or economic shifts that we should provide insight around as a leading provider of Real Estate data
  • Recommend specific product improvements to add value to end users of our Real Estate offering
  • Assist commercial and our clients with respect to Real Estate data and workflows, acting as a Real Estate fundamentals and properties subject matter expert
  • Create user stories, wireframes, and function as product owner on agile scrum teams
  • Working closely with the technology scrum teams to progress product development in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework
  • Execution of critical projects
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Insight, Product Operations, Modeling, etc.) to create valuable Real Estate-focused thought leadership, webinars, models, and more

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the financial sector with a focus on the real estate industry
  • BA/BS in finance, economics, business mathematics, technology, or other related field
  • Enrollment in the CFA program is desirable
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, define and deliver on key initiatives
  • History of working well in a group setting and proven ability to deliver results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in finance, real estate, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets or reporting of financial data. 
  • Strong Excel and VBA skills
