Spark Solar Pvt Limited seeks a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, goods, and important documents to designated locations safely and efficiently. This role demands a professional who follows all traffic laws, practices safe driving at all times, and maintains the vehicle in good working condition. The ideal candidate holds a valid driving license, has a strong understanding of local routes, and meets a minimum education requirement of Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent). With at least four years of driving experience, the individual will ensure punctual arrivals and departures, contributing to seamless company operations.
In this role, the Driver will play a vital part in supporting Spark Solar Pvt Limited’s daily activities by planning routes effectively to optimize time and fuel usage. The position does not involve managing a team, allowing focused attention on driving responsibilities and vehicle care. The Driver promotes safety, professionalism, and company values while interacting with staff and clients during transportation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely, adhering strictly to traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport staff, goods, and documents to specified locations on time and in good condition.
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operability.
- Plan efficient routes using knowledge of local roads to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
- Manage schedule proactively to meet delivery timelines and appointment times.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to management promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel use, and vehicle maintenance activities.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods and securing the load properly during transit.
- Ensure all safety equipment in the vehicle is present and functional at all times.
- Follow company protocols for vehicle use, parking, and security to protect assets.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and staff to coordinate transportation needs.
- Stay updated on local traffic regulations and safety standards to continuously improve driving performance.
- Minimum qualification: Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent).
