In this role you would be working closely with the Top Management in driving departmental strategy to achieve common objectives.

Your Typical day at work

• Ensure the successful delivery and oversight of all training requirements within your respective domain

• To take on any additional training courses as and when required to ensure that any changes made to any regulations or commercial agreements are complied with

• Attend any future courses that will be required at any time by RAS to enable them to carry out regulatory and mandatory training on behalf of RAS

• Assess relevant training needs for all employees, in consultation with department heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems entailed

• Stay informed as to the relevant skills and qualification levels required by staff for effective performance, and circulate requirements and relevant information as appropriate

• Produce organisational strategy and plans to meet training and development needs, and manage training delivery, measurement and follow-up as necessary

• Produce weekly key performance indicator dashboards for your stations operational management teams to enable effective oversight and engagement in the training needs of their stations

• Arrange for the purchase and maintenance of all necessary equipment and materials relating to the effective delivery and measuring of training

• Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organisational and statutory policies, including health & safety, employment and equality laws

• Maintain control and optimum utilisation of training resource within your domain. Manage the training and quality officers against the relevant policies and procedures set out by RAS

• Ensure full compliance and quality control of training delivery within your region, review delivery on an annual basis against our own airline ground handling manuals and corporate training delivery lesson plans

o Degree(s)/Major(s): MBA/BBA/BSc

Work experience: 

o Extensive core experience of Training and Content
