We require a Senior DBA who would be responsible for providing operational database services to the organization. DBA should have service oriented mentality, high sense of ownership of the problems and requests assigned. He will be required to:
- Perform all common database administration like, database backups, recovery, space utilization optimization, security management, replication and database maintenance
- Develop procedures to DTS data from multi-sources.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data maintenance tasks
- Provide support to software development team
- Provide support to operational group in production environments to troubleshoot database performance issues
- Installation, configuration and administration of SQL Server
- Develop new and manage existing ETLs if required
- Focus on managing and resolving issues in alignment with the SLAs.
- Establishing and maintaining communication with technology users to keep them updated with status of their requests.
- Initiating and performing changes on production systems and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes.
