SSA Soft is a software solution provider, providing customer software development services to local and international businesses, is currently seeking for a Senior Project Manager, responsible for leading multiple customer projects throughout project life cycle. The incumbent will takes projects from original concept through final implementation. The position defines project scope and objectives, develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducts project meeting with international customers and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. The incumbent of this position will also bring to surface additional opportunities emerging with existing customers and potential new customers.
- Develop estimates for new projects, from time and material perspectives
- Lead development of new customer proposals for emerging opportunities or to respond to tenders
- Responsible for delivery and success projects, optimizes results within business and time constraints.
- Leads meetings with project team to assess status and resolve issues as they come up.
- Meet with customer IT/Business teams to determine solutions to problems.
- Defines project scope and objectives.
- Develops preliminary project plan and design, determines necessary resources, and project timeline.
- Supervise multi-skills teams comprising of 25-30 resources working on various development /IT projects
- Assign individual responsibilities and acts as a management resource for project team members.
- Review and track status of project and deliverables and provides project updates and ongoing cost analysis to IT and business line management.
- Conducts presentations regarding project status and current issues to management team as well as customers.
- Provide assistance to IT team members with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge.
- Mentor team to improve their understanding and skill and ensure they are familiar with resource materials available.
- Ensures adherence to project management process and project documentation standards.
- Develop project cost estimates and manages budget throughout projects.
- Works on special projects as assigned. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
- Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives
- Identify emerging opportunities with existing customers and potential customers and attempt to mature those opportunities
- Lead and coordinate with team for production and off hour application support
- Demonstrated ability to build good working relationships with multiple parties customers, suppliers and Vendors
