Staff Engineer-Full Stack

We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Engineer – Full Stack to join our innovative technology team. This role suits a hands-on, technically proficient professional who thrives on solving complex engineering problems and taking ownership of software architecture and coding decisions. You will contribute throughout the product lifecycle—from design and integration to testing and CI/CD. As a senior individual contributor, you will independently architect and develop advanced software systems, guide technical direction, mentor peers, and maintain engineering excellence in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Engineering: Design, build, and maintain robust full-stack applications using Python, Django, Vue.js, Bootstrap, MySQL, and AWS-native services. Translate business needs into high-performance software solutions while writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Lead efforts to improve overall code quality.

Software Design & Architecture: Take ownership of complex software component design and interface specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess functionality, scalability, and interoperability. Modernize existing architectures to align with evolving business requirements.

Application Integration & Middleware: Identify and implement integration opportunities across internal and external systems through APIs and middleware. Conduct feasibility studies and develop secure, efficient API integrations. Troubleshoot and optimize cross-platform interactions to maintain data consistency and system reliability.

Emerging Technology & Innovation: Keep abreast of industry trends and evaluate new technologies for business applicability. Conduct research and proof-of-concepts to validate tools and frameworks, influencing technology stack decisions.

Cloud-Native Engineering: Develop cloud deployment strategies that meet business, security, and scalability needs. Promote infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and serverless/cloud-native practices in line with AWS best practices.

CI/CD & Configuration Management: Automate build, test, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Manage multi-platform deployment configurations, optimize pipelines, and enforce release governance. Automate repetitive release tasks to enhance reliability and speed.

Product & User Journey Thinking: Participate in cross-functional requirement gathering and feature walkthroughs. Analyze user journey performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend architectural or code improvements. Bridge product design and engineering to deliver user-centric solutions.

Testing & Quality Engineering: Design and implement manual and automated test cases across integration, system, and performance levels. Define test strategies, write reusable scripts, and perform root cause analysis. Continuously improve test coverage and feedback mechanisms.

Project Contribution & Collaboration: Lead small to mid-sized technical projects, contributing to planning, estimation, and review processes. Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX teams to ensure successful delivery. Mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of high engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

- Over 9 years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on full-stack development.
- Proficiency in Python, Django, Vue.js, Bootstrap, MySQL, Redshift, and AWS services.
- Deep knowledge of software design patterns, architecture principles, and secure coding standards.
- Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, resilient, and maintainable cloud-native systems.
- Expertise in API design, integration, and optimization of cloud-native, API-first applications.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automated testing frameworks.
- Demonstrated capability to independently resolve complex technical challenges and uphold engineering excellence.
- Experience mentoring engineers, conducting design reviews, and enforcing high coding standards.
- Passion for researching and applying emerging technologies to critical business systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to excel in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment.
