- Take samples of injectable preparations from production department after aseptic filling or terminal sterlization injectable preparation to perform the bacterial endotoxin and sterility test according to SOPs/ SAP.
- Take sample of water for injection and perform bacterial endotoxin test
- Perform microbial analysis of water collected from different points of water treatment system
- Monitoring of control area regularly as schedule, or as per requirement by the production.
- Perform the bioassay of antibiotics.
- Reculture the bacterial and fungal cultures after every 15 days and maintain the record accordingly.
- To complete the document related to micro biological operation
- Review existing SOPs and prepare new SOPs related to micro biological section.
- Ensure proper disposal of used medias and record it properly.
- Perform duties for effective implementation of quality policy.
- perform any other duties regarding microbiology section assigned by QCM
