- Reviewing and executing physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
- Organizing the inventory in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
- Maintaining full control over delivering, stocking, descriptions and labeling medicine and other products
- Completing operational requirements including, but not limited to, verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the inventory.
- Providing information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage
- Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies and drugs
- Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice. Studying existing and new legislation and advising management on needed actions.
- Supervising the work results of support personnel.
- Performing other administrative tasks when needed and Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
