Our head office is located in Australia, however, the manufacturing of our products takes place right here in Pakistan. We have very high growth aspirations and so we are looking for an exceptional Factory Manager who is ready to take the production of Sting products to the next level. About the right candidate

We are not looking for just anyone to apply. We need a very high calibre individual to take charge of production. If this is you, it means you have an exceptional ability to lead a large group of people. You have the ability to implement consistent procedural disciplines, including quality control measures, efficiencies and standards of excellence. In contrast, you also have the ability to be flexible where appropriate and it is your robust judgement that enables you to know when this is required. You are never phased by having multiple priorities to deliver at same time, as it is the high volume of output required that motivates you to excel.

Core accountabilities and tasks

Below are the core accountabilities and tasks required for the Factory Manager role.

  1. Deliver the production orders on time
  • Produce a plan to deliver to both current and future production requirements
  • Manage the day-to-day production to ensure that orders are produced each day on time
  • Identify any major issues within the factory and ensure appropriate communication and resolution takes place
  • Manage the efficient delivery of production by maximising output with the minimum amount of resources, without compromising on quality or safety
  • Manage the ongoing production and issues management concurrently in order to deliver both consistent results as well as resolving issues
  1. Manage quality control
  • Ensure quality control practices are in place to identify and resolve defects
  • Provide quality reporting on the factory performance against quality requirements
  • Implement steps to improve the quality disciplines within the factory
  1. Plan and manage resources
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual resources plans to ensure the factory is adequately resourced
  • Conduct an analysis of the human resources required for each function and produce a workforce plan
  • Implement a recruitment and training plan to ensure that human resources are in place ahead of business requirements
  • Identify where scarce skills are required and implement plans to attract and retain talent into those roles
  • Adjust resource plans according to changes in the internal and external environment
  • Review factory space resources to ensure an optimal level of land area is being utilized
  • Review resource requirements to maximize efficiency, including the ongoing re-allocation of resources where required

Execute procedural disciplines

  • Ensure safety procedures are in place, communicated to all staff and visitors and regular training and communication takes place
  • Conduct regular emergency procedure drills and ensure all staff and visitors are aware of steps to take in an emergency
  • Ensure all factory procedures are documented and stored in an efficient and accessible system
  • Manage the review and sign-off of procedures by technical experts on a regular and scheduled basis
  • Provide training to staff on the relevant procedures they must perform
  • Management the assessment of staff on completing procedures accurately, including implementing development and corrective plans
  • Provide reporting on procedural accuracy and implement actions to address required improvements

Manage factory infrastructure

  • Ensure Information Technology Systems are functioning properly
  • Maintain the right equipment within the factory, ensuring that each machine and tool is in working order, is running efficiently and has no safety issues
  • Manage safety equipment, including fire extinguishers and conduct regular checks to ensure they are in working order
