We are looking to hire "Manager" in our Procurement Department.
An ideal candidate must have 4-6 years of relevant experience having good understanding in Purchasing of garment accessories from local and international suppliers.
Sound Knowledge of Market, Sourcing and Negotiation with good Communication skills are encouraged to forward their resume.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Maintains purchasing information, files and records (e.g. Requests for Proposal, purchase orders, vendor files, etc.)
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Preparing purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Compiling data from a wide variety of sources (e.g., vendors, staff, etc.) for the purpose of analyzing issues, ensuring compliance with the purchasing policies and procedures, and monitoring purchasing processes.
- Preparing procurement reports and presentations for use at Senior management level in strategic decision making.
- Any other task assigned by supervisor.
