We are a seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking raw footage and transforming it into engaging and compelling short-form video content. Photo editing would be an asset and will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Review raw footage and select the best clips for editing.
- Edit video clips with attention to pacing, storytelling, and visual impact.
- Add necessary graphics, text overlays, animations, and sound effects to enhance the overall viewing experience.
- Collaborate closely with the content creation team to ensure the final product aligns with the brand's vision and message.
- Ensure that all content meets quality standards and adheres to platform-specific guidelines.
- Work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media video content.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing your work in short-form content, ideally for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts - Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong storytelling and narrative-building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across videos.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to feedback and adjusting your work accordingly.
- Solid understanding of social media platform requirements and best practices.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
