Stratix Insights is seeking a dedicated Policy Researcher with at least two years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a team of three researchers to conduct in-depth policy analysis and generate actionable insights. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive research projects that inform and influence public policy decisions. The position requires expertise in quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, and clear report writing to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
The Policy Researcher collaborates closely with internal and external partners to assess the impact of existing policies and propose well-founded recommendations. Managing a team, the candidate ensures timely delivery of high-quality research outputs, fosters a collaborative work environment, and supports professional development. This role demands strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to translate complex data into understandable and persuasive policy briefs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of three researchers to execute thorough policy research projects from inception to completion.
- Design and conduct quantitative research studies using appropriate statistical methods to analyze policy impacts and trends.
- Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive reports and policy briefs that communicate research findings to diverse audiences.
- Perform impact assessments to evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of public policies and programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and academic partners, to gather data and insights.
- Monitor current policy developments and relevant socio-economic trends to inform research priorities and strategies.
- Ensure research projects comply with ethical standards, data protection regulations, and organizational guidelines.
- Foster a productive and positive team environment, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Identify opportunities for improving research methodologies and applying innovative analytical techniques.
- Present research results at meetings, conferences, and workshops to support evidence-based decision-making.
