• Responsible for troubleshooting and apps management in coordination with the Project Coordinator
  • Installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solve technical and applications problems
  • Run and maintain basic Server services including File Server, FTP, DHCP, SSH, etc.
  • Run and maintain basic LAN & WAN in Office/Corporate Environment
  • Ensure system backup system is in place on user systems as well as backup on Cloud Storage. Configure & Confirm user data security.
  • Many peripherals have to be set up in order to complement the computer network.
  • These can include things such as printers, keyboards, Switches, Wi-Fi Access Points, routers, modems, and smart devices.
  • It is the IT assistant’s responsibility to set up those peripherals and ensure that they are both functional and secure.
  • Regularly monitor and maintain computer systems and networks Devices
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles on systems and in Server
  • Provide support in procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Troubleshooting/Provision of technical onsite/remote support to staff as required through on phone requests and ticketing system
  • Facilitate staff in virtual/remote calls and meetings
  • Maintain accurately and updated IT equipment Inventory
  • Have an understanding of Android and IOS based Mobile phones and applications
  • Ability to determine the equipment that meets the organization’s requirements
  • Analyzes future needs for acquisition-related to IT Infrastructure
  • Regular field visits to support field staff in troubleshooting the IT systems

Other: 

  • Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values.
  • Participate in the SPO programme planning and review meeting if needed.
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by the Supervisor.
  • Carry out any other project relevant activities as assigned by the supervisor.

 Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in managing android applications and digital tools and systems.
  • Experience of maintaining and troubleshooting medium sized networks (LAN and WAN)
  • Knowledge and experience of managing backups using organization standards 
  • Demonstrated understanding of local laws, policies and protocols of different INGOs/ donor agencies. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication, fluency in both written and spoken English/Urdu. 
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members and a proven ability to solve problems independently without direct supervision.
