Study Abroad Student Counselor Required at SCS Karachi Office
Student Counseling Services is leading student recruitment company providing study abroad guideline and related services to Pakistani students in fair and professional way since last 20 year. We have 5 offices across Pakistan. Our sister company ICD Institute of Career Development is test center for various English tests like IDP IELTS, TOEFL ,GRE, Cambridge and UKVI SELT Exams which are used for student visa applications.
We are looking for Educational Consultant for our Study Abroad section in Karachi Office.
The person will be responsible for
- Dealing with student inquiries on phone / email and social media websites & replying to them.
- Guiding students/visitors for course and institution selection.
- Guidance to students for student visa applications, how to apply, Dos and Donts of visa application
- Coordinating closely with head office regarding applications & enquiries
- Marketing of SCS Study Abroad services in Karachi and Sind region by using available avenues.
- Attending all leading education fairs/exhibitions and events in Karachi on behalf of SCS
- Following up all inquiries sent by Head office and converting them to applications
- Achieving monthly agreed target for student enrollments
- Hosting and managing student recruitment events in Karachi on monthly bases. Running digital media campaigns for Karachi / Sind student community
- Engaging with local educational institutions, counselors and schools / educational agents to source quality study abroad applications
- Managing similar other tasks for student recruitment suggested by Head office
Desired Skills
- Must have a Bachelor Honor or Master degree at least with a reputable institution and with good grades
- Punctual, Honest, Hardworking and team player. Quick learner having a passion to move forward.
- HE / She must have excellent communication skills both spoken and written English
- Must have full command on Computing like Emails, Presentations, Databases etc.
- A designing skill will be regarded as a plus. Active Digital marketing will be required during job
- Convincing attitude and pleasant personality for public dealing
- Out of box thinker!
Prior experience of study abroad consultancy/ student visa advisory is desirable but not mandatory.
Package:
- Salary up to 50K (During Initial 3 month probation salary will be 30-40K)

Terms
- Initial 3 month probation period will be offered to assess employees performance
- Original academic transcript of highest qualification to be submitted due to security and compliance.
- Office timings will be 10 am to 6pm with two Saturdays off in a month
- Benefits of Health/ Transport will be provided after probation
- Initial Contract will be for 2 years extendable

ICD is an English exams and Teacher Training Center based in Pakistan. We have 3 centers Karachi Lahore and Islamabad. ICD offers various English exams including Cambridge English, Pearson Test of English, TOEFL iBT and HSK exams. Also we offer various Teaching Qualifications including TEFL, CELT p/s, TKT and Cert. in EMI from Cambridge. Another brand of ICD is SCS - Student Counseling Services. SCS guide students for study abroad purposes. Working since 2002 the company has excellent track record for exams, training and counseling.
