Style Group of Industries is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Deputy Manager Accounts to lead and manage the financial operations of the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the accuracy and compliance of all accounting activities while providing strategic financial management to support the companys objectives. The successful candidate will manage a team of six accounting professionals and coordinate key accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and audits. This position demands strong leadership capabilities, analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP.
The Sr. Deputy Manager Accounts plays a critical role in enhancing accounting processes, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The role requires collaboration across departments to ensure effective financial planning and control, along with improving accounting systems and workflows. Candidates must possess proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills, with a background in manufacturing or service sectors considered an advantage. This position requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience and a professional qualification or degree in accounting or finance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure efficient cash flow and accurate record-keeping.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process by collaborating with various departments and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.
- Ensure full compliance with tax laws, corporate policies, and financial regulations, coordinating with external tax consultants or authorities as needed.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
- Develop and implement improvements in accounting systems and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of six accounting professionals, delegating tasks and monitoring performance to meet departmental goals.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management to support strategic financial planning and contribute to organizational growth and stability.
