Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders to verify quantity and quality of goods.
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and promptly report any issues to the relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials to ensure reliable inventory data.
- Distribute materials and equipment to authorized personnel while maintaining detailed issuance logs.
- Conduct regular stock counts to monitor inventory levels and update records accordingly.
- Use inventory management software for data entry, tracking stock movements, and generating reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
- Organize the storage area to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy retrieval of items.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures in the storage facility to protect goods.
