Propose pricing of new and preexisting products to meet the profitability targets
Track the sales of best sellers and make adjustments for maximizing shareholder benefit.
To make sure liquidation takes place of Slow Moving articles as well as make promotions and schemes for sale of goods. (Mark Down Planning)
Identify vendors through market research, liaison with suppliers and negotiate cost prices, place timely purchase orders after agreeing time scales and delivery dates, ensure right time availability of product and dispatch to the respective stores.
Build departmental assortment plans for the assigned category across clusters, price points and types of shoes. Balance the store product profile as per target customer and market profiles to get better same store sales growth
Identify new potential projects and seek technical assistance from PD for the finalized ones to ensure they are technically sound
Collaborate with visual merchandising marketing to ensure goods are displayed to maximize customer interest and sales
Partner with the Planning team to conduct demand forecasting for the assigned product category
