Job Role/Responsibility:
The main role/responsibility of merchandisers is to help both the customer and the production team through interactive way. Also increase the sale by using interpersonal skills.
Job Duties
- Costing for new inquiries
- Managing the approval of fabrics, lab dips, trims and samples
- Following up all sample flow including proto, fit, pre-production, production and salesman samples
- Work with Sales Manager/CEO to develop new clients by utilize market data
- Analyzing sales information
- Ordering and chasing labels/trims where necessary
- Communicate with Sales Manager regarding sales issues/objectives.
- Be courteous and a responsible driver at all times.
- Visiting suppliers and manufacturers, if necessary
- Creating size charts and garment specs where necessary
- Sourcing – develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing factories and suppliers
