Supply Chain Operations Officer

The Pentagon Food Group, a leading name in the Food and Beverages industry, is looking for a committed Supply Chain Operations Officer to join their team based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the flow of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain. This position requires close collaboration with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery, efficient inventory control, supplier coordination, order fulfillment, and ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure product availability. Develop and implement inventory control strategies aimed at reducing carrying costs and preventing excess or obsolete stock.

Supplier and Vendor Relations: Coordinate deliveries and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing while evaluating supplier performance to quickly resolve any issues.

Order Processing and Fulfillment: Oversee the entire order cycle, ensuring accurate processing and timely shipment to meet customer expectations. Manage backorders, returns, and exceptions efficiently.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance processes.

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards across all supply chain activities. Implement quality control measures, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with quality teams to resolve issues promptly.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance processes. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of proven experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or a similar role. A strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices is required. Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems is expected. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
