Video Editor

SUTHRA Punjab is seeking a skilled Video Editor with expertise in Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and a strong foundation in video editing, color grading, sound editing, storyboarding, visual effects, and sound design. The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on experience and demonstrates creativity, precision, and attention to detail in producing high-quality video content. This role involves working closely with the creative team to deliver engaging and visually appealing videos that meet project goals and deadlines. The position does not require managing a team but demands self-motivation and effective collaboration skills to contribute effectively within a dynamic production environment. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the vision and style of SUTHRA Punjab. They will utilize advanced editing software and techniques to enhance the visual storytelling, maintain consistency, and improve the overall quality of video productions. The role requires constant communication with directors and producers to ensure the final content aligns with the intended message and branding standards. Candidates must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while delivering polished and professional results.

Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage using Final Cut Pro and After Effects, ensuring seamless transitions and flow.
Perform color grading and correction to enhance visual aesthetics and maintain consistent tone.
Edit and mix audio tracks to achieve clear sound quality and proper synchronization with the video.
Develop and implement storyboards in coordination with the creative team to outline video structure and narrative.
Incorporate visual effects (VFX) and motion graphics to enrich video content and emphasize key elements.
Design soundscapes and apply sound design principles to support the mood and atmosphere of the video.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and other creatives to meet project requirements, revisions, and deadlines.
Review footage for continuity and quality control before final output, making adjustments as necessary.
Ensure all videos comply with technical specifications and formats for various distribution channels.
Manage multiple editing projects efficiently, maintaining organization of files and timelines.
Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, software updates, and industry best practices.
Maintain a clear and open line of communication with the team to facilitate smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
