- To receipt the incoming material from vendors / suppliers.
- To arrange the inspection of incoming material.
- To issue the material to every department / section on requirement against SIR.
- To maintain receipt & issue record on daily basis in computer inventory and bin cards also.
- To maintain receipt & issue record of all arrival and rejection materials.
- To perform periodic assessment of stock regarding shortage / excess / damage.
- To check the re-order level report on daily basis and send the purchase requisition to Director Import as and when deemed necessary.
- Report on the rejected items suppliers wise / item wise indicating the reason to Director Import.
- To receive the scrap / wastage from all departments including discard packaging & forward scrap item report to Director Import for auction as & when required.
- To prepare shortage report and discuss with Director Import prior to production plan meeting to manage short raw materials and other materials from the current week’s production plan.
- To review the re-order level report for weekly production plan and plan procurement of short items.
- To check weekly production plan items and batch/Mfg/Exp/Price printing activity as per weekly production plan.
- To ensure proper placement of qualified items from the Quality Control Inspection Area and final placement of items at appropriate places.
- To ensure maintenance of the machinery/equipment under use of R&I as per machinery maintenance schedule.
