We are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Project Manager to work on the next generation e-commerce platform. The successful candidate would be an experienced Technical Project Manager, a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player.

The Project Manager is responsible for all facets of project delivery including full commercial and technical accountability. The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates resources and their activities to ensure that project goals or objectives as defined in the project plan are accomplished within prescribed time, funding and quality parameters.

The Project Manager works closely with software developers and executive leadership team to ensure project objectives are understood and robust project controls are in place to achieve outcomes and provide sufficient reporting on status and key decision requirements. Leading the project team to actively source and build the required local and regional delivery capability. Work with suppliers and vendors to meet project scope and quality requirements.

 Qualification

·         Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science (or related field)

·         8 - 12 years of work experience in reputable software development organizations

·         Past experience of hands on coding/development in software development projects

·         Must be well-organized and lead the projects efficiently involving cross-functional teams

·         Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Core skills:

·         Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.

·         Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development

·         Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices

·         Excellent knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand the team needs

·         Ability to deliver the project as per agreed timelines

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; developers, product owners, and subject matter experts

Responsibilities

·         Develop, manage and execute project plans, defining scope, deliverables and resources

·         Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

·         Manage software development cross-function team of 6 to 10 members.

·         Ensure all software solutions and architecture are documented and maintained in the central repository

·         Monitor project progress continuously and provide detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables to the management

·         Develop technical aspects of company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals

·         Establishes, plans, and executes major milestone reviews and decision gates to complete the program and project life cycle. Ensures all the required products are produced and reviewed, including the technical leadership of requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, test, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution

·         Use SCRUM or Kanban software development processes. Must be able to switch between these methodologies and should have the ability to tailor them according to the project needs.

·         Monitor KPIs and SOPs to assess technological performance

·         Predict and stay ahead of any technical inflection points that might significantly affect the company

·         Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
