Sysmetics BPO is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing Associate to join the healthcare revenue cycle management team. This full-time, onsite position based in Rawalpindi offers an excellent entry point for individuals starting their career in medical billing. The role requires candidates to work the night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time, supporting efficient medical billing operations. The ideal candidate possesses good spoken English, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage billing tasks independently while adhering to healthcare compliance standards. This position involves direct communication with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to ensure accurate claim submissions and timely resolution of billing issues.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance carriers in accordance with healthcare billing guidelines.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to claim submission to ensure correct billing information.
- Monitor the status of submitted claims, promptly following up on unpaid or denied claims to facilitate resolution.
- Post payments received from insurance companies and patients, reconciling accounts accurately to maintain financial integrity.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient and billing records, ensuring all data is accurate and readily accessible.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with insurance representatives, patients, and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries.
- Support compliance with all relevant billing standards, regulations, and company policies to mitigate billing errors and audits.
- Assist in maintaining billing documentation and records required for audits and reporting purposes.
- Work independently to manage workload efficiently while meeting established deadlines and performance targets.
- Utilize basic Microsoft Office skills to prepare reports, maintain records, and facilitate communication.
- Adapt to the night shift work schedule, demonstrating consistency and reliability during working hours.
- Participate in training sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills related to medical billing processes and insurance guidelines.
