We are looking for an Advanced Java and ASP Programmer to maintain Java and ASP applications that manage USSD sessions and currently hosted on AWS servers.
The experienced Java Developer will do the following:
- Troubleshoot the systems when needed to make sure all the components and functionalities are working properly.
- Add new functionalities to the systems based on the company’s needs and project requirements.
- Test and ensure that newly added functionalities are working as expected before deployment on the production server.
- Assist with the successful deployment of the new functionalities on the production server.
- Provide maintenance to the systems as needed.
- Assist with new application development and deployment if needed
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience
- Proven working experience in core Java technologies, more specifically Java SE development
- Proven experience in working with the web application framework GRAILS
- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, MySQL and Ms SQL
- Experience in working with AWS, USDD, SMS, XML, smpp and multithread-programming
- Experience with test-driven development
