Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end commission operations, including monthly payments, accruals, validation, and advisory support to the commercial team, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review, assess, and improve commission policies and schemes, identify risk areas, and propose alternative solutions to management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial controls to safeguard against errors, omissions, and fraud, ensuring compliance and timely balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing documentation and explanations during audit processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, support cross-functional efficiency projects, and implement technology solutions to automate routine commission tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CA, CIMA) are an advantage.
- 5 years of experience in commission management or finance operations, preferably in telecom.
- Telecom business, commission incentive / schemes and expertise in reporting under IFRS.
- Strong knowledge of commission incentive schemes and sales compensation models.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, particularly accruals and revenue-related accounting.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP or commission systems.
