Job Purpose The Java & BPM Support Developer is primarily responsible for business continuity; which includes installing, configuring and deploying scalable solutions, analyzing performance, and ensuring security by design, troubleshooting the issues, performing RCA and implementing corrective actions. Java & BPM Support Developer works closely with sales and implementation teams to understand strategic business issues and then craft and communicate solution strategies. A strong technical background is a requirement as is comfort with client communication.
The qualified candidate will have an optimum technical background, exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- IBM BPM/Jboss/WebSphere/DB2 server installation.
- Perform and maintain IBM BPM/Jboss/WebSphere/DB2 server configuration changes for development/TEST/QA and Production servers.
- Apache ActiveMQ installation and configuration.
- Identify the IBM BPM environment setup, Troubleshoot and apply the fixes and product patches to the IBM BPM servers and WebSphere application servers.
- Involved in supporting IBM BPM BPD's, Services, Web Services, Java Connectors, DB Connectors, Coaches and customization in Portal.
- Support platform for IBM BPM, Java, SpringBoot and J2EE applications on WebSphere Application server.
- Deploy BPM process snapshots/EARs/WARs to QA and production servers.
- Create Cron jobs and Monitor jobs and take necessary steps to correct job failure, communication status of jobs, accept and resolve problem tickets etc.
- Provide coding, testing and implementation support for identified technical platform

Required Skills
- 1 to 2 years’ experience
- Experience in IBM BPM 8.5.x
- Hands on experience in WebSphere Application Server.
- Hands on experience in Spring/J2ee/Web services etc.
This professional position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
This position is based in Islamabad.
