Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and work associated with the implementation, evolution and operations of the multi-layer authentication infrastructure to include authentication systems for a new application.
- Partner with system, infrastructure, and application teams to determine/create integration strategies/patterns that allow secure access across programs and applications.
- Define security requirements for new application, identify the appropriate configurations.
- Perform activities such as protection needs assessment, requirements elicitation, security architecture, threat assessment, computer security, communication security, networking, security technologies, hardware and software development, test and evaluation, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and supply chain risk management.
- Configure vulnerability and compliance scans using industry standard security scanning tools
- Evaluate vulnerability and compliance scans and collaborate with engineering to define remediation
- Collaborate with infosec to ensure the effective security posture
- Build novel detection capabilities to uncover patterns of fraud, abuse and other security threats that affect our platform and users
- Use custom and third party tools to detect and prevent threats to end user accounts
- Work cross-functionally to implement near real-time detection and mitigation strategies that protect our platform and customers
- Research and monitor emerging trends, techniques, tactics, and procedures related to platform abuse and threats to our customers
- Monitor performance and efficacy of existing alerts, playbooks, and detection capabilities
Required qualifications:
Experience implementing the following into software applications:
- Single Sign On (SSO)/SAML (essential skillset)
- Azure Sentinel
- Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
