Responsible for managing the HR Operations and Compliance team, ensuring their day to day activities are completed to ensure HR process efficiency and accurate data logging. Following approved HR procedures and related SOPs/policies.    

  • Complete supervisory duties across the HR Compliance and HR Operations Teams.
  • Enhance and optimize processes for an efficient and cost-effective way of delivery of HR services.
  • Execute key operational processes in timely manner, without error. Challenging non-adherence to HR policy and challenging areas that have a negative impact to the business or are a risk to the business.                                                                                
  • Overall responsibility for the on-boarding of new workers into the Training Environment, ensuring they have an informative orientation process in which their employment is also verified. Timely creation of employee personnel files with accurate and verified information
  • Responsible for managing processes around formal action - investigating fairly and professionally.
  • Assisting in the development and improvement of all HR operational processes, including any automation of process attributed to ERP software.                             
  • Train and ensuring HR Operations Team provide efficient end to end service delivery to all employees, particularly around employee inquiries. Sanction employee requests such as Loans, Advances and draws on company benefits.                                        
  • Responsible for ensuring HR Operations team are collating accurate data that can be used for reporting and analytical purposed. Ensuring they work to the HR Operational KPIs, as set out by the MD. 
  • Ensure all employee allowances are correctly recorded and attributed to their personnel file. This includes but is not limited to loans and advances.
  • Managing employee engagement and communication, deploying necessary communication plan and ensuring employee engagement activities are carried out to achieve the intended objectives, through working with the Talent Management Team.
  • Management and performance assessment of 3rd parties/suppliers.
  • Responsible for contributing to the wider HR agenda including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Rewards Management.                             
  • Providing the MD with legal advice, whenever the laws change in relation to employee management. Ensuring these are implemented with the approval of the MD and appropriate communication with employees.                                            
  • Develop and implement Compliance, Health and Safety policies in accordance with the law and internal standards. Ensuring that these policies are adhered to by all employees.        
  • Leading all External Audits, including proper planning and preparation for any type of audit, including unplanned audits. Ensuring the company is "audit ready" through the continuous improvement and maintenance of Compliance, Health and Safety standards.          
  • Management and review of all Monthly Internal Audits, ensuring there is proper follow up on all risks whether minor or major. Providing long term solutions for issues concerning factory Compliance, Health and Safety.                 Responsible for staff awareness and training on best HSE behavior and practices.
  • Set up and/or update and implement a monitoring system to check on compliance of set standards.                                                           
  • Coordinating the activities of the HSE committees and ensuring that they carry out their mandate.                                               
  • Monitor occupational incidences and hazards and report to HSE committee and MD.               
  • Work collaboratively with all departments in order to achieve and maintain accreditation and highest standards of employee safety. Develop and implement a stakeholder and community engagement plan and act as the key liaison between stakeholders and management team.                                                               
  • To perform any other duty as assign by the management relevant to the Process and Reward Department.
