Job Description
The Print Production Manager (PPM) oversees the planning and execution of assigned print programs from conception through delivery. The PPM communicates relevant information to each team stakeholder, including but not limited to: Project specifications and budgets with Account team, production timing and schedules with Traffic department, concept development with the Creative team, and sourcing qualified vendors for our Client Purchasing Group.
Essential Job Functions:
Ø Ensure production timing meets schedule expectations and pricing falls within established budgets.
Ø Prepares print production budget estimates, and upon approval, writes bid specs and submits them to the Client Sourcing group.
Ø Partner with Creative to develop award-worthy concepts utilizing the latest technologies and production techniques.
Ø Conduct project post mortems to make recommendations to internal team and external suppliers for process or quality improvements in necessary areas.
Ø Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management to include process improvements.
Ø Manage awarded suppliers to ensure they keep accurate inventory records as needed.
Ø Maintain sample library of produced work and distribute within internal team as needed.
Ø Review artwork for reproduction quality. Provide retouching direction to concern person and prepress supplier.
Ø Attend local and out-of-town press-checks as needed.
Ø Act as a liaison between account management and creative team to facilitate all requests that come through Print Production
Ø Participate in special projects as directed by Management.

BBA, B.Com, & B Tech

MBA, M.Com, BS Engineering (Mechanical / Printing)
