To support this vision, Careem is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner to help build world-class tech teams, especially within its Data & AI and Engineering divisions. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategic talent pipelines, collaborate closely with business leaders, and provide a seamless hiring experience in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner by working closely with Engineering and Data & AI leaders to understand their goals, anticipate hiring needs, and co-create effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrate sourcing excellence by proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of high-quality technical candidates. Provide competitor intelligence and hiring benchmarks to guide decision-making.
- Recruit for critical technical roles including Backend and Mobile Engineers, Data Scientists, and other key positions supporting Careem’s technology infrastructure across markets such as UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan.
- Enhance the candidate experience by championing a positive, transparent, and seamless hiring journey. Set clear expectations and maintain timely communication throughout the process.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and offer management, ensuring candidates receive a best-in-class experience.
- Stay agile and data-driven by sharing insights, market intelligence, and regular progress updates with stakeholders. Monitor pipeline health, time-to-fill metrics, and talent trends to continuously optimize recruitment strategies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with a strong focus on technical recruiting in Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics domains.
- Proven track record of success in fast-paced environments such as startups, scale-ups, or high-growth technology companies.
- Confidence in managing full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer negotiation and closure.
- Proficiency with recruiting tools including LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems like Greenhouse.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, provide constructive pushback, and deliver results.
- A proactive and creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by building impactful, high-performing teams.
