To support this growth, Careem is seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to help build world-class technical teams within its Data & AI and Engineering divisions. This role involves close collaboration with business leaders, strategic talent pipeline development, and managing smooth hiring processes in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor by partnering closely with Engineering and Data & AI leadership to understand their vision, anticipate hiring needs, and co-create effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Exhibit sourcing excellence by proactively identifying, engaging, and nurturing pipelines of top-tier technical candidates. Provide competitor insights and hiring benchmarks to inform strategic decisions.
- Recruit for critical technical roles including Backend and Mobile Engineers, Data Scientists, and other essential positions, supporting Careem’s technology infrastructure across key markets such as the UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by managing the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end—sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and handling offer management—to deliver a seamless and transparent hiring process.
- Maintain agility and a data-driven mindset by sharing market intelligence, recruitment insights, and progress updates with stakeholders. Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill metrics, and talent landscape trends to continuously refine recruitment strategies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong focus on technical recruiting within Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics fields.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced environments such as startups, scale-ups, or high-growth technology companies.
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing through offer negotiation, with proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of building trust, providing constructive feedback, and delivering impactful hiring outcomes.
- A proactive, creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguous situations and is motivated by contributing to large-scale organizational growth.
