To support this growth, Careem is seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to help identify, engage, and hire world-class tech talent, especially for its rapidly expanding Data & AI and Engineering teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategic talent pipelines, collaborate closely with business leaders, and deliver seamless hiring experiences in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner by collaborating closely with Engineering and Data & AI leaders to understand their vision, anticipate hiring needs, and co-develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrate sourcing excellence by proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of high-caliber technical candidates. Provide competitor intelligence and hiring benchmarks to guide recruitment decisions.
- Recruit for critical technical roles including Backend and Mobile Engineers, Data Scientists, and other key positions, supporting Careem’s technology infrastructure across markets such as UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan.
- Shape the candidate journey by championing a positive and seamless experience. Set clear expectations and maintain timely, transparent communication throughout the hiring process.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer management, ensuring candidates receive a best-in-class experience.
- Stay agile and data-driven by sharing insights, market intelligence, and regular progress updates with stakeholders. Monitor pipeline health, time-to-fill metrics, and talent landscape trends to continuously refine recruitment strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition with a strong focus on technical recruiting across Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics disciplines.
- Proven success in fast-paced environments such as start-ups, scale-ups, or high-growth technology companies.
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer management, with proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse).
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of building trust, providing constructive feedback, and delivering results.
- A proactive and creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguous situations and is motivated by contributing to large-scale, impactful projects.
