As Careem enters its next phase powered by AI, it is seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to support the growth of its Data & AI and Engineering teams. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with business leaders, develop strategic talent pipelines, and deliver a seamless hiring experience within a fast-paced tech environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping teams that are redefining mobility and technology across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a trusted partner: Work closely with Engineering and Data & AI leadership to understand their vision, anticipate hiring needs, and co-create talent acquisition strategies that align with business objectives.
- Demonstrate sourcing excellence: Proactively source, engage, and build pipelines of top-tier technical talent. Provide competitor insights and hiring benchmarks to support informed decision-making.
- Recruit across critical roles: Lead recruitment efforts for essential positions such as Backend and Mobile Engineers, Data Scientists, and other technical roles across multiple markets including UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan.
- Shape the candidate journey: Ensure a positive and smooth candidate experience by setting clear expectations, maintaining timely and transparent communication, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and screening to scheduling interviews and managing offers.
- Stay agile and data-driven: Share insights, market intelligence, and regular progress updates with stakeholders. Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill metrics, and talent landscape trends to continuously optimize recruitment strategies.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition with a strong focus on technical recruiting within Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics domains.
- Proven success working in fast-paced environments such as start-ups, scale-ups, or high-growth technology companies.
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer management, with proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of building trust, providing constructive feedback, and delivering results.
- A proactive and creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguous situations and is motivated by building impactful teams and organizations.
