We are looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to join us on a six-month contract based in Lahore, Pakistan. This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape the teams behind Careem’s rapidly growing Data & AI and Engineering organizations by sourcing, engaging, and hiring world-class technical talent. You will work closely with business leaders to build strategic talent pipelines and deliver a seamless hiring experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted partner by collaborating closely with Engineering and Data & AI leaders to understand their vision, anticipate hiring needs, and co-develop effective talent acquisition strategies. Demonstrate sourcing excellence by proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of high-caliber technical candidates. Provide competitor intelligence and hiring benchmarks to support informed decision-making.
Recruit across critical technical roles including Backend and Mobile Engineers, Data Scientists, and other key positions that support Careem’s technology backbone in markets such as UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan. Shape the candidate journey by championing a seamless and positive experience, setting clear expectations, and maintaining timely, transparent communication throughout the hiring process.
Own the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and managing offers, ensuring candidates receive a best-in-class experience. Stay agile and data-driven by sharing insights, market intelligence, and regular progress updates with stakeholders. Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill metrics, and talent landscape trends to continuously refine recruitment approaches.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition with a strong focus on technical recruiting within Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics. Proven success in fast-paced environments such as startups, scale-ups, or high-growth technology companies. Expertise in full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer management, with proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse).
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of building trust, providing constructive pushback, and delivering results. A proactive, creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by contributing to the growth of a significant organization.
