- Reporting directly to the Founding Member of TAMKEEN, this position is responsible for providing accounting and finance support for a non-profit organization.
- After an initial period of orientation, successful candidates will be able to conduct most work from their own home.
- Duties include but are not limited to.
- Competence in Accounting Function and problem-solving skills are required. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is needed.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Setting up (initially) a manual accounting system with related documentation on Policy and Procedures.
- Prepare the organization’s monthly financial statements and analysis thereof.
- Maintain General Ledger (and related sub-ledgers), bank and account reconciliations, and preparation and posting (after approval) all journal entries.
- Assist independent auditors during annual audit.
