RELATIONSHIP MANAGER ONLINE EQUITY SALES

 

Duties of the Relationship Manager – Online Equity Sales

·         Objective: Bring in New Online Equity Investment Accounts

·         Identify different sources of Sales Leads continually: social, professional network etc.

·         Make Prospect List – that lists: who to call, confirmation of meeting time and then visit for a meeting (what Credit Card, Pharmaceutical and Insurance Marketing Personnel do)

·         Achieve Department’s Sales Targets

·         Achieve client relationship targets and Key Performance Indicators  

·         Build and maintain relationships with Potential Clients and Leads (Corporates, Individuals, Trade Bodies etc.)

·         Alert the Head of Online/ Manager Business Development to client issues that need to be addressed or difficulty in bringing the account in

·         Work on opportunities for further sales within key clients

·         Continually build on developing and strengthening the Client relationship

·         Attend High Net Worth Client meetings with Head of Online/ Manager Business Development to build relationships with new and existing accounts

·         Work closely with other Relationship Managers and Manager – Customer Services (CS)

·         Direct Customer-Services to resolve client issues/queries

·         Address and Resolve areas of concern as and when raised by clients in a timely manner – trouble-shooting for clients

·         Carry out client satisfaction surveys and reviews through CS

·         Monitor Individual Online performance against targets and flagging potential issues

·         Update Individual targets and data in Head of Online/ Manager Business Development CRM Data-base and ensuring Head is aware of short-fall in targets

·         Pass leads to the rest of Sales Team if thinly spread/too much work-load

·         Diligently follow up on evasive or difficult leads

·         Liaise with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively

·         Report regularly to the Head of Online on individual targets, current status and performance

·         Work closely with the Head of Online/ Manager Business Development

 

Background of the Relationship Manager

·         Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with strangers of all income levels, ages, personalities

·         Previous sales experience preferred and an organised approach to work

·         Hardworking with a strong work ethic

·         Previous experience working as a Relationship Manager or a track record of managing client relationships

·         Experience in insurance sales, mutual funds (asset management companies), banking/wealth management, credit card sales, pharma sectors preferred 

 

Must have Skills

Willingness to meet new people from all income levels and all ages, confidence, hard-working, excellent phone skills, politeness, patience, energetic, no ego issues in client-facing roles

Metric / O Levels or higher

Salary

·         Rs 25,000 per month plus commission – with sales target of at least 10 new accounts per month

 

Other considerations

·         After 3-month probation period – confirmation

·         Confirmation sooner depending on performance
