IT Project Manager
U.K. Online educational company teach9 has its IT office set up in Islamabad. Our minimum viable product is now online on website platform and is scheduled to be launched on mobile applications in the next 10 days. We are looking for an IT project manager to manage our teams of developers, designers and digital marketing experts for website and mobile platforms.
You will be required to develop a thorough understanding of currently on-going tasks, manage the tasks on a daily basis and get tasks delivered on time. You would also be required to lead and manage new scope of work from conceptual stage to the final implementation. Teach9’s senior management team is based in U.K. and therefore you would be our eyes and ears on the offshore IT team to get things done

What will you do?
- Take responsibility for the management and successful execution of large, complicated, high-profile and ambiguous IT projects (including digital marketing)
- Build and manage available IT resources and define teams based on tasks and manage them accordingly
- Provide very strong leadership to the project team and actively represent the IT project team.
- Ensure strong working relationships with senior management based in U.K.
- Ensure that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and proactively managed
- Typical tasks would include – supervising website improvements tasks, development tasks, bug fixing, digital marketing tasks like SEO optimisation, online campaign development
What are we looking for from you?
- Expert knowledge of relevant project management methodologies, development life cycles etc. including first-hand experience of agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creating concise PowerPoint slides for senior stakeholder distribution.
- Good knowledge of resource and service management tools and techniques when working with multiple third parties.
- Experience in effective team coaching and managing high performance teams.

Mon to thursday : 1pm to 9pm
Friday: 5pm to 9pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm
