Essential Duties and responsibilities
The Startup Incubator Experience Consultant should possess exceptional problem-solving skills and an aptitude for providing effective solutions to optimize efficiency of the startups with an updated knowledge of business and industry. He/She shall report to the NIC Director. The following are the main duties and skill sets required for the position;
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to plan the activities in advance. Diverse general business knowledge in all areas including commercialization, pricing / bundling, branding & marketing etc. Proven successful track record of creative and analytical problem-solving with the ability to refine and communicate complex concepts.
Work Experience Requirements
− 5 or more years of successful experience as a senior professional in a corporate environment (pref. directly reporting to or communicating with C-Level executives) especially working closely in incubation/educational institution or in donor funded project which works for startups.
Compensation: Position starting at xxx PKR annually Work Hours: x Time – xx hours per week, with health and other benefits. Candidate must have a flexible schedule.
Job description
− Bachelors or Masters degree in Management Sciences or Humanities with relevant experience in the field of consultancy.
− Should posses business and industry knowledge.
− Should have received international professional trainings.
− Should have excellent verbal communication, presentation and reporting skills.
− Conduct initial needs assessment of Startups and their respective business processes.
− Find out the causes of business challenges and propose best possible solutions to resolve those challenges.
− Interview all necessary groups, such as startups and management to aid in consultancy.
− Propose recommendations on Startup’s improvements.
− Clarifies operational and strategic issues with the Startups to help them improve their productivity.
− Prepare reports and proposals.
− The person should be able to thrive in a fast paced dynamic startup environment with the ability to work alone or in a team.
