We are looking for Jr. Legal Associate . A law graduate who has a keen interest in intellectual property law, and a sharp sense of English/legal drafting and writing, and an acumen for legal research, to join our growing legal team.
Job Description :
- Various corporate legal matters; (e.g. intellectual property, compliance issues, transactions, agreement drafting/vetting, lawsuits etc.
- Developing company policy and position on legal issues.
- Researching, anticipating and guarding company against legal risks.
- Taking part in with intent to lead and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Drafting and reviewing reports and other legal documents.
- Represent company in legal proceedings (trials etc.).
Skills/Aptitude required:
- A law graduate preferably with a minimum second-class honors degree
- Strong conception and aptitude in intellectual property rights, contract law, company law etc.
- Sound analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
- Fresh – 2 years’ experience in legal research and ability to write properly formatted essays and opinions using MS Office
