Ovada Server and DB Management;
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with BS in Computer Science or similar degree along with 2 to 5 years of experience. The job requires excellent knowledge of Linux operating system, Amazon web services, Bash and python scripting, automation and databases.
- Linux server installation, administration and maintenance
- Server hardening, performance tuning and patches installation
- Management of Amazon web services EC2, S3, auto scaling, load balancer, RDS, cloud formation, elasticsearch, IAM.
- Work on Automation tools ansible, fabric, puppet, chef, terraform
- Work on DevOps tools such as Vagrant, Docker and Jenkins
- Interface with clients across the globe on multiple simultaneous project
- Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS etc.), AWS
- Strong skills of automation and devops tools is must (Vagrant, Ansible, Jenkins, Dockers)
- Knowledge of Terraform, Hadoop will be a plus
- Extensive scripting knowledge in Bash and python
- Databases skills MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Web server skills including Nginx, Apache, uWsgi, Gunicorn
- Knowledge of protocols SMTP, HTTPS and Websockets
- Ability to solve complex issues that need deep drive
- Excellent communicator, Excellent collaborative team member, Proactive stakeholder management, Ability to work individually as well as in the team, Self accountability, Proactive communication with team leads and management around creative ideas, Creative and innovative development style.
