PHP/Wordpress developer duties and responsibilities
- Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications.
- WordPress Theme development, custom development and woo commerce customization.
- WordPress plug-in development & Customization will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Themeforest plugin and theme developments standards will be a plus.
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
- Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) a plus.
PHP/Wordpress developer requirements and qualifications
- Previous working experience as a PHP / WordPress developer for (2) year(s).
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science.
- In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and PHP Framework.
- Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design.
