We are looking for Quality Assurance Engineers to develop and execute exploratory tests as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality. The candidate would be required to do the following:
- Writing test cases against requirements & executing them.
- Writing automated testing scripts.
- Demonstrating the product functionality to clients
- Writing & reviewing technical product documentation.
- Providing technical customer support for various products/projects.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing
Requirements
- Creates & maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress & release reports, application turnover documents & test schedules.
- Experience of automation is a must.API automation testing using Postman or any other tool is mandatory.Reporting issues in a clear fashion.
- Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills.
- Use SQL, System logs, application logs, etc to investigate issues & troubleshoot problems with systems autonomously.
- Excellent English language skills (written, oral & listening) & fluent in speaking.Quick learning skills to rapidly adopt new tools/technologies & business domains.
- Design, develop, execute, & maintain automation systems using Ruby, Selenium Webdriver, Javascript is a big plus point.
- Proven work experience in test automation frameworks & libraries like Junit, TestNG, Apache ANT, etc.
- Proven work experience in Behavior-driven testing tools like cucumber, Jbehave, etc.
- Black-box & Glass-box testing of internal & publisher facing applications & endpoints.
- Familiarity with databases & competence in SQL.
- Ability to communicate clearly within & out of the team
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Good Knowledge of SDLC & STLC
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with white box, black box testing & regression testing
- Automated Testing, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Selenium Software Testing, Test Automation, Usability Testing, Pen Testing, A/B Testing
