Responsibilities

  • Be passionate about all things SEO, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards testing, learning and self-development.
  • Excellent understanding of technical aspects of the web including coding languages.
  • Ability to either write or debug HTML & CSS.
  • Basic knowledge of MySQL & JavaScript.
  • Developing professional On page / Off page SEO strategies & executing them.
  • Execute tests, collect, analyze data, identify latest trends and insights in order to achieve maximum rankings and sales through search engines
  • Track, report, analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Optimize copy & landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Develop, Manage and implement all SEM / SEO link building activities
  • Work on the development side to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Ability to write basic documents including site audits, competitor analysis and backlink reviews.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO foundations, such as Meta data, robots.txt, XML sitemaps.
  • Knowledge of popular CMS' and web frameworks and their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Good Mobile and Video SEO knowledge.
  • Ability to conduct Change Analysis to review effectiveness of technical or content changes.
  • Understanding role and integration of content strategies within SEO Brand assets - tone of voice, understanding and leveraging for SEO Basic content creation (whole page).
  • Understanding of the principles of Negative SEO.
  • Ability to use all major analytics packages and 3rd party SEO tools. Ability to conduct Market Analysis (client and major competitor identification).
  • Understanding of Paid Search and Adwords. Have a commercial understanding pricing structure, rate card, time versus spend

Requirements

  • Proven SEO experience in ecommerce websites ( SEO Experience of a Shopping cart build in Shopify, Wordpress or Magento, )
  • Proven Ecommerce experience
  • Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, increasing leads ,sales, conversions & online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools
  • Experience with bid management tools
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, SMM and SEM
