We're looking for a Python Expert to join our team working on a monitoring system for European Postal Service that integrate a number of heterogeneous systems. The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand Perl scripts for Nagios plug-ins and port these into high-quality python scripts, while displaying a keen eye for quality assurance and code maintenance.
Selected candidates will enjoy a friendly, fun and growth driven environment to enhance their skills while producing best out of them.
*Package is negotiable based on skill set and experience.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2+ years of python development experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
- Must be familiar with any of AWS, Azure and GCP cloud platforms
- Write high quality, python script that are efficient and maintainable.
- Experience building RESTful APIs.
- Flexible thinker - Don’t get too attached to a particular solution—things change quickly around here.
- Detail oriented - Whole is the sum of the parts.
- Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
