TechNerds Inc., a US-based company, is looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The ideal candidate must show responsibility, practice leadership, take new challenges continuously, capable of thinking out of the box, and be a good team player.
Our working hours are from 12:00 pm-9:00 pm and working days are Monday-Friday, please consider this before applying.
About the Role:
- Experience in creating detailed comprehensive & well-structured test plans and test cases
- Capable to own and drive the QA process
- Create and review test cases/ test scenarios and processes ensuring alignment with standards for Apps and website
- Good hands-on practice in Front end (web testing), Backend testing (APIs, Business logic)
- Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress, and release reports, application turnover documents and test schedules
- Database testing Cloud/Mobile testing Manual & Automation testing Performance testing UI/UX testing Integration testing
- Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies
- Able to identify, record, document thoroughly and record bugs
- API automation testing using Postman or any other tool is mandatory
- Ensure that all system tests are completed and documented and all problems are resolved
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Use SQL, System logs, application logs, etc to investigate issues and troubleshoot problems with systems autonomously
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation systems using Selenium, Web driver, JavaScript
- Black-box and Glass-box testing of internal and publisher facing applications and endpoints
- Reporting issues in a clear fashion
- Familiarity with databases and competence in SQL
- Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Java, .NET, cryptography or PKI would be a plus
About You:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer sciences or any other relevant field with a minimum experience of 3 years
- Work independently as well as on a team and manage multiple task assignments
- Collaborate with internal and external team members, onshore and offshore
- Quick learning skills to rapidly adopt new tools/technologies and business domains
- Excellent English language skills (written, oral and listening) and fluent in speaking.
