We are looking for a Technical Lead with extensive expertise in email security solutions, particularly Mimecast, to join our IT Infrastructure Services team based in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will have a solid background in deploying and managing Mimecast or comparable email security platforms. This role acts as the final escalation point for complex incidents and requests, requiring advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve intricate email issues such as routing errors, delivery delays, false positives and negatives, impersonation attempts, malware, phishing, and business email compromise (BEC). The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic IT environment focused on protecting organizational communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Mimecast Email Security solutions and similar tools with deep technical knowledge.
- Act as the Level 3 escalation point for all Mimecast-related incidents, requests, and problem resolution.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting of advanced email security challenges, including routing issues, delivery delays, false positives/negatives, impersonation, malware detection, phishing attacks, and business email compromise scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of email security policies and procedures.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders on Mimecast-related issues and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience with Mimecast Email Security or equivalent email security platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on email security incidents and threats.
