Technical Project Manager

Digital Engage, a results-driven digital marketing agency focused on creating impactful web experiences and driving measurable business growth, is expanding its internal web development team. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead web-based projects by ensuring technical precision and facilitating smooth communication between development, design, and client-facing teams. This hybrid role is based in D12 Shah Allah Ditta, Islamabad, with a schedule of three days in-office (Tuesday to Thursday) and two days remote (Monday and Friday). Working hours are from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM. As the Internal Technical Project Manager, you will oversee all technical aspects of web development projects from planning through delivery and maintenance. Your role will be critical in allowing client communication leads to focus on relationship management while you handle technical reviews, system coordination, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality websites and applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of web development projects, including planning, execution, testing, and final delivery.
- Translate project requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks for the development team.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of websites, systems, and integrations to ensure quality and functionality.
- Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and client communication managers to maintain alignment and project coherence.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers, proactively resolving issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain organized project documentation, timelines, and progress reports to ensure transparency.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, SEO best practices, and responsive design principles.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and foster better cross-team communication.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience managing web development or software projects, preferably within an agency setting.
- Strong familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or Wix.
- Solid understanding of front-end and back-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, APIs, and hosting environments.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana and Slack.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to technical detail.
- Effective communication and coordination skills across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
